Our mission

Restore the original.
Earn trust through proof.

Project Phoenix is an independent effort to investigate recovery of the original Bitcoin Black (BCB) blockchain. Our priority is authentic historical data—not inventing a new record of ownership or claiming that balances have already been restored.

We've rebuilt the legacy node software and demonstrated a complete test-network transfer between two nodes. Rebuilding a secure, decentralized public network and validating the original ledger are separate challenges that remain ahead.

Our objective: preserve verifiable history, publish meaningful technical progress, and invite independent review.

Recovery roadmap

Where We Stand

Documented technical milestones, not investment claims. Status updated October 2026.

01 · Software rebuilt

Original V21 node and RPC executables compiled with compatibility fixes.

02 · Two-node test

Test BCB sent and received; both nodes returned confirmed block status.

03 · Mainnet research

Seeking a genuine historical ledger, snapshot, or surviving node operator.

04 · Public recovery

Independent auditing, security hardening, infrastructure, and community participation.

Help revive the history

Have an original Bitcoin Black backup?

Did you operate a Bitcoin Black node between 2019 and 2021? An old full-node database or ledger snapshot could be vital to recovering the historical network.

Historical records

LMDB data files, RocksDB folders, archived snapshots, explorer datasets, or verified node backups.

Technical contributors

Experienced blockchain developers, auditors, and original node operators willing to review evidence.

Community connections

Help reconnect with original maintainers, representatives, and independent archives.

Security: Please never send wallet seeds, private keys, passwords, or wallet backup files containing secrets. Contact us first to discuss safe handling of public ledger data.
